Cecotec has reached an investment agreement with Casas inHAUS to develop an industrialised construction plant in the Valencian Community, to which both companies plan to allocate around €100 million.
The facility, which is expected to be up and running within three years, would have an annual capacity of 500,000 sqm, equivalent to around 6,000 homes, and would generate around 4,000 direct and indirect jobs. The location has not yet been decided, as the two companies are considering various large-scale industrial sites in the province.
The factory will incorporate automation, robotisation and digitalisation processes to complete around 95% of each building in an industrial setting before it is transported and assembled on site. According to the forecasts provided, this system would reduce the construction process to around three months and limit the cost and schedule overruns associated with conventional building work.
Production will cover detached houses, residential developments, multi-family buildings and hotels, for both private clients and public authorities. The choice of Valencia is based on its proximity to the ceramics industry, the availability of suppliers and its logistics links.
The agreement involves Cecotec acquiring a stake in Casas inHAUS, although the parties have not disclosed either the amount allocated to the corporate transaction or the size of the stake acquired. The Valencian group had already entered the residential sector at the end of 2022 through CecoHomes, its architecture and industrialised housing division.
Casas inHAUS reports having achieved €46 million in sales so far in 2026 and expects to reach €100 million by the end of the financial year, compared with the approximately €20 million recorded the previous year.
No Limits Advisory has advised the companies on the structuring and execution of the agreement.
