Gaiastays is expanding its portfolio of student residences in León, Lleida, and Segovia, bringing the total to 223 rooms. The flexible housing operator has begun marketing these units with the aim of launching operations this coming September, coinciding with the start of the academic year.
The first of the scheduled openings will take place in Lleida this June with the Rambla Aragó Residence. This property will feature 18 studios equipped with private bathrooms and kitchens.
Later, during the summer, the Sandoval Residence in León is expected to open, a facility that will have 24 rooms.
Finally, in September, the Eresma Living project in Segovia will be added, contributing 20 rooms to the company’s portfolio.
These three additions come on top of the company’s recent moves in Salamanca, where it has already incorporated the San Claudio, Licenciados, and Santa Rosa de Lima properties. The organization’s strategy focuses on managing mid-sized properties in cities with high demand from university students. To this end, it uses its own technology platform designed to centralize processes and optimize occupancy and profitability at its properties.
The operator is a brand belonging to the Gaia Capital Invest group and is part of the Gaiarooms digital hotel chain. Currently, the group manages more than 2,200 residential units across Spain and Portugal. In addition to the new destinations mentioned, the company operates in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, and Palencia.
