Exxacon has begun construction work on a development comprising 99 homes in Casares Costa, Málaga, with an investment of €51.18 million. The development will be built on a 10,664 sqm plot situated in the Doña Julia area, with handover expected to begin from the third quarter of 2029.
The development, named Alura Living Casares Costa, will comprise two- and three-bedroom homes, all with a parking space and a storage room. The units will feature private terraces or gardens, which in some ground-floor flats will exceed 200 sqm, while their south, south-east and south-west orientation will allow the homes to open out towards the sea and the surrounding area.
The development will include swimming pools for adults and children, a sun terrace, a gym, a golf simulator, a sauna, a Turkish bath and various communal areas dedicated to leisure and dining. The architectural design has been developed by Villarroel Arquitectos and JCC Arquitectura & Urbanismo.
Located around five minutes from the beach and close to golf courses such as Finca Cortesín, the development is aimed at both the primary residence and holiday home markets. According to figures provided by the developer, over 95% of buyers are foreign nationals, mainly from various European countries and the United States.
The development forms part of the developer’s investment plan for the province of Málaga, where it plans to invest €294.3 million by 2029 to deliver ten developments in the provincial capital and in towns such as Estepona, Casares, Mijas and Alhaurín de la Torre.
Across Andalusia, the company plans to invest €421.2 million by the same year, spread across 14 projects and 1,107 homes in Málaga and Seville. These projects form part of its growth strategy up to 2032, which brings the planned investment across its entire portfolio to €860 million.
