Atitlan acquires tertiary land owned by Valencia CF

Valencia CF has reached an agreement with Juan Roig's fund, Atitlan Desarrollos Inmobiliarios, for the sale of the tertiary land annexed to the Nou Mestalla on Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas, which will have Área Desarrollo (a subsidiary of Grupo Simetría) in its execution phase. So far, the amount of the transaction has not been disclosed.

Atitlan has been interested in this space for years, but the situation of the urban planning process had slowed down a possible agreement. In fact, "the agreement is subject to the approval of the urban planning instruments and licences necessary for the development of both the stadium and the tertiary buildings planned by the buyer", says the football club in a statement.

This is the culmination of a long process of negotiations that represents a major step forward for Valencia CF towards the objective of resuming and concluding work on the future home of Valencia CF, and also helps to develop one of the main entrances to the city of Valencia, with a project that will undoubtedly contribute to boosting the economy of the area.

In this way, Valencia CF continues to take steps forward to make the Nou Mestalla a reality, they add.
