The investment fund Thor Equities has closed the purchase of a 3,000 sqm logistics warehouse in Moncada i Reixach (Barcelona). The asset is currently held by auto accessories company Acritoma, according to Property EU.
However, this operation is not isolated, but is part of the expansion plan that the company is carrying out in the Spanish market, where in less than a year it has acquired more than a dozen logistics assets.
At the end of 2020, Thor Equities bought a logistics portfolio from a national family office, made up of three industrial warehouses, located in Barcelona and Seville. Specifically, one of the newly built warehouses is located in the Pratenc Industrial Estate in El Prat de Llobregat, another in the Llobregat Industrial Estate in Castellbisbal and the third in Dos Hermana (Seville).
In addition, last December the fund acquired a logistics warehouse and land for a new development in the La Postura industrial estate in Valdemoro (Madrid). The asset was owned by a private investor and is occupied by SEAT. The acquired property has an area of 31,000 sqm and the plot has 7,500 sqm.
Also at the end of last year, the company built a last-mile logistics portfolio in Pinto and Torrejón, south of Madrid, with two occupied buildings and three new developments. The portfolio was acquired off-market for an amount of 38.7 million euros. The two buildings are built in 2019 and are 100% occupied by Gefco (in Pinto) and Endutexon (in Torrejón), with a ten-year lease.
