It’s Temprano Student Living program’s most recent acquisition, now with a total of 10 projects in the Iberian Peninsula and 3.500 beds, closed last December. The asset, the remaining lot of an allotment already occupied by houses and a supermarket, is located at Monsenhor Fonseca Soares street, in the Boavista area, in central porto 800 metres away from Campo Alegre.
Currently being developed, the project contemplates 330 premium studios, for a total area of 10.000 sqm, supported by kitchem bathroom and smart TV, besides a fully equipped gym, pool, lounge areas, meal room, movie and multimedia room, launderette, library and study and co-working areas. The building will also have secure parking for cars and bycicles, landscape gardens and 24 hour concierge service.
Jonathan Holloway, in charge of development for Portugal at Temprano Capital Partners, mentions that «this residence, our second in the key-market of Porto, is directed at national and international students and is expected to open its doors in 2020». He explains that «the large number of dislocated national students, as well as the increase in international students, lead us to invest in this second project after having launched the project TSL U. do Porto, a 580 room residence in the Asprela campus, which is currently under construction and which is planned to open in September 2019».
José Quintela, in charge of residence design at Temprano, has been cooperating with architectural office Bernardo Durão Arquitectos for the achitectural project. The project’s development management will be carried out by Ficope and Igemaci will offer technical and engineering support. Law firm AFMA represented Temprano Capital Partners during the acquisition.
