The projects will be built on land owned by the company, which has a portfolio of 34 hectares that will allow them to develop a volume of 200,000 sqm of warehouses in the next three or four years, although it will depend on demand.
In addition, Prologis is involved in four refurbishment works totaling more than 53,700 sqm. These are the Sant Boi (8,535 sqm), Circuit de Catalunya (18,788 sqm), Azuqueca de Henares (12,000 sqm) and Camarma (14,400 sqm) centres.
Seeking new operations
The logistics company continues to seek new operations. In this sense, it is interested in buying land in Barcelona; as well as finished warehouses, leased or not leased, and located near Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.
To carry out this growth plan, Prologis currently has around 2 billion dollars to invest at the European level.
Among its latest operations in Spain, the purchase of the last two assets that the Socimi Colonial had in Spain stands out. Specifically, two logistics warehouses located in San Fernando de Henares with a total area of 59,000 sqm.
