One of these hotels will be developed in a building located at the heart of Madrid, at Custa de San Vicente street. It will have 340 rooms, a restaurant, a lounge bar, common areas and a coworking space. A parking lot will also be built. On the purchase and refurbishment of this building alone The Student Hotel expects to invest €60 million.
The other hotel will be developed in Barcelona, at Provençals street. The building, which is located in Distrito 22@, has an area of 3.600 sqm. In it will be built 300 rooms, a coworking area, a restaurant and a cocktail bar on the roof. According to Eje Prime, this investment is estimated at €50 million.
The two projects should be finished in the near future. The Madrid hotel is expected to be finished by September 2020 and the Barcelona one by 2021.
In 2021, the company expects to open other hotels in Spain. Valencia, Malaga, Seville, and the Basque Country are the elected locations.
