In 2018, the fund bought 9 buildings in our country, in Lisbon, Porto and Gaia, for a total investment of 7 million euro. It debuts in the Portuguese market considering that «the Portuguese real estate market adapts itself to MK Premium’s business model. We managed to export our business strategy for the acquisition of old buildings in order to recover their architectural legacy», mentions Daniel Leiva, founding partner at MK Premium, quoted by Negócios. Besides that, Lisbon and Porto have «many unused buildings in need of urgent interventions, in order to meet the growing housing demand in these important Portuguese cities».
After registering a profit of 2.1 million euro last year and more than doubling the results of 2017, the fund states that it will reinforce its real estate portfolio «up to 50% both in Spain and Portugal », it also mentions quoted by the same source.
