Inmoglaciar is the owner of four plots located in the Madrid town of Arganda del Rey and is looking for an investor to build a turnkey project on these lands. The sum of the plots is 50,000 sqm and 500 homes could be built, according to Idealista news. This project has attracted the attention of a large number of players in the real estate sector, although Inmoglaciar has declined to make any statement on the matter.
It should be noted that the developer foresees two residential developments in Arganda del Rey throughout 2021. These are the Zenobia development and the Moriana development, which between the two add 238 new apartments. The works of these two buildings began between 2018 and 2019 and the keys will be handed over throughout this year, according to the developer's website.
The two projects are located in one of the best areas of the city, in front of the metro line 9 "Arganda del Rey", next to the Ciudad Deportiva Príncipe Felipe and a step away from all the necessary services for the owners: supermarkets, educational, health and leisure centers. In addition, they have a direct exit to the A-3.
With regard to the project aimed at build to rent, the reality is that the search for an investor fits perfectly into the context that surrounds this business model. In fact, a study by the consulting firm Atlas affirms that in Spain 90,180 homes will be built under this modality until 2028. A model that could accelerate especially as of 2024, driven by social, economic and demographic.
The most ambitious plan is the Government's '20,000 Plan', which promised to raise during the legislature 20,000 affordable rental homes throughout Spain through public-private partnerships.
