The portfolio involved in the transaction consists of assets located in Andalusia (Seville, Córdoba and Puerto de Santa María in Cádiz), Catalonia (Tarrasa and Manresa in Barcelona) and Alicante.
The acquired assets are the shopping centers La Sierra (Córdoba), El Paseo (Cádiz), Aljarafe (Camas, Seville), San Juan (Alicante) and those of Tarrasa and Manresa (Barcelona).
Carmila continues with the implementation of its investment strategy and incorporates with this operation six new assets that belong to its target market, in order to deploy in these centers the different levers that enable it to create value: renovation of the centers according to the concept "family resemblance", revitalization of the merchandising-mix, optimization of occupancy rates (95% on average for all), development of specialty leasing, activity booster with the deployment of all the digital marketing tools developed by Carmila (effective websites, databases, "Services Newsstand" and "Boost") and development of additions, given that some of these assets have an important stock of buildability. This portfolio has a significant potential for rental growth over the next three to five years, according to the company.
