A few months away from reaching five years since its start, the company managed by Sebastián Palacios acquired eight new facilities in a 280 million euro investment, which puts its portfolio at 78 shopping centres and 469.900 sqm of leasable area. In February, the Gran Vía de Hortaleza shopping centre (Madrid) was incorporated into Carmila’s real estate portfolio. Later it was La Sierra (Cordoba), El Paseo (Cadiz), Aljarafe (Seville), San Juan (Alicante), Tarrasa (Barcelona), Manresa (Barcelona), and La Verónica (Malaga), which were added to the company’s portfolio.
With these purchases, the real estate company reinforces its positioning in key geographical areas and expands a portfolio currently estimated at 1.450 million euro. Carmila announces that in the coming months all these shopping centres will be refurbished and the commercial offer will be modernized, which means there will be new business opportunities for the society’s usual retail partners.
«We started 2019 with enthusiasm, projects and great expectations. Our goal for this year is to guarantee our leadership in the Spanish market and to boost our multichannel strategy», states Sebastián Palacios, Carmila’s CEO.
