Until very recently, the logistics sector in Portugal was characterised by different players that were mostly domestic and almost all related to food retail. The principal international logistics companies operating in our country based most of their operations in Spain, holding only smaller assets in Portugal and leaving most of the national logistics activity in the hands of domestic companies.
