Swiss Life Asset Managers has announced the market launch of one of Valencia's best-known leisure and restaurant venues: Finnegans. The European asset manager has been advised by Colliers to exclusively market the building, which is located in the heart of Plaça de la Reina, in the old quarter of the city.
The property has a gross rentable area of 785 square metres distributed over the ground floor, mezzanine and basement. This iconic establishment in the city, with an Irish pub style and elegant wooden finishes, is notable for its façade with double-height windows and a large outdoor terrace. Following the renovation of the premises, it is expected to open during the summer.
Sara Garvi, from Colliers Valencia's capital markets team, says: "Valencia has become a globally recognised European city, with a large influx of tourism and chosen over other capitals by students and digital nomads, attracting many national and international operators to develop their expansion plans. With the latest openings in the city, we are seeing how Valencia is catching up with major cities such as Madrid and Barcelona".
Garvi also adds that "the transformation of F&B spaces is taking up a large part of retail transactions in the main cities, encouraged by record tourism figures and a change in the consumer habits of the users of these spaces, who demand not only quality products and services, but also experiences in which decoration and interior design play an important role in attracting customers".
