Finangeste bought Dolce Vita Miraflores, in Oeiras, from Abanca, the shopping center's mortgage lender, in partnership with a European investor, for 4.1 million euros. The transaction was closed in 2021.
Dolce Vita Miraflores has a gross leasable area of 6,000 sqm above ground, in addition to 131 parking spaces.
Finangeste’s management is now drawing up “a significant investment plan aimed at repositioning this centre, updating and modernizing it, as well as providing the local community with an improved commercial offer and at the same time making access and enjoyment of this property more comfortable”.
Improvements will also be made in terms of the sustainability of the property and measures for more efficient management of consumption and increased energy efficiency will be implemented. In total, 4 million euros will be invested to give a "new face" to the shopping center, as advanced by Finangeste to Vida Imobiliária.
In this business, Finangeste had the support of the law firm CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut.
It should be remembered that, in the spring of 2021, Abanca rejected the proposals to purchase DV Miraflores presented by Atena, for 2.8 million euros, and for White Sand Capital, for 2.4 million euros, below the minimum value set of 5.3 million euros. The shopping center finally changes hands on the 4th sale attempt.
