The Andalusian developer Suba, part of the Sinerba Group, has obtained initial approval from the Town Hall to move forward with its project for a retail park in the Granada city centre.
The project, located on the Camino de Purchil, next to the GR30 and partially on the site of the current municipal crane depot, has received the backing of the detailed study drawn up on the site. With a forward-looking vision, the company plans to start work in the second quarter of the year, with the aim of opening to the public in the last quarter of 2025.
The business park will have a buildable area of 8,443 square metres for commercial use and 5,114 square metres of maximum buildable area for sports use. Strategically located opposite the neighbourhoods of the Ronda district, the enclave is surrounded by educational institutions, the local police headquarters, public and private facilities, as well as nearby university campuses.
One of the highlights of the project is its parking facilities, with a total of 197 surface parking spaces and 200 spaces in an underground car park, ensuring convenience and accessibility for visitors.
The project is currently in the marketing phase, establishing agreements with various operators who will bring this commercial space to life. The park will house a supermarket, several medium-sized retail units, a modern gymnasium and areas dedicated to services, leisure and catering.
This development is part of Suba's portfolio of commercial projects, which comprises seven initiatives in different stages of development over the next three years, with a projected investment of over 250 million euros. Granada is preparing for a significant transformation in its commercial and leisure offer with the arrival of this park, consolidating its position as a key point on the real estate map.
