Threestones Capital has announced the acquisition of a nursing home in the town of Rubiana, province of Ourense, for its investment vehicle TSC Fund - Eurocare IV.
The San Cosme nursing home is a unique two-storey structure with two basements, offering 86 beds. The building, completed in 2008, has spacious and bright rooms with large common areas, providing a comfortable stay for its residents. Mimara Residencial, one of the leading operators of residences for the elderly in Spain, will take over the operations of the residence.
"We are pleased to announce our fourteenth acquisition in Spain through the Eurocare IV sub-fund, which brings the total number of care beds managed by Threestones Capital in the country to 1,493. The acquisition of the Rubià nursing home reflects Threestones' commitment to expand its senior housing portfolio and provide high quality care to the elderly population in Spain," says Beka Pipia, Portfolio Manager of Threestones Capital.
Located in the north of eastern Galicia, almost on the border with Castilla y León, the residence offers a quiet and pleasant environment, while basic services are within walking distance. The main residential areas of Lugo and Ourense are approximately one hour's drive away.
Threestones Capital was supported by Pavia e Ansaldo on the legal side, Drees & Sommers on the technical side and Savills on the financial due diligence.
