Renta Corporación has closed the purchase of an 18-unit building in Barcelona for 20 million euros.
The transaction includes 18 of the 20 floors of the building, a commercial space leased to the Volvo car brand and 120 parking spaces. In total, it has an area of 4,800 square meters. Each apartment has an area of 200-215 square meters.
The property is located between Modolell and Vallmajor streets, on Via Augusta. This is the second area of the city with the most expensive housing price.
Renta Corporación's intention is to reform the property and allocate it to the luxury sector. This reform will include a new facade, development of the common areas and equipping the property with a swimming pool and gym.
Last December, Renta Corporación already carried out another operation on Vía Augusta in Barcelona, in this case focused on the office market. The real estate company closed the sale for 25.8 million euros of an office building at number 123 Vía Augusta street.
