The asset has 190 rooms and an area of 7,000 sqm, it has been in operation since 2008 with an average occupancy rate of over 80% and its operational management has recently been taken over by the CK Seniors Group, specialized in providing services for the elderly and dependents and manager of another 12 residences in Spain, 4 mental health centers and the Covadonga hospital, next to the residence.
With this operation, Primonial REIM France continues its expansion strategy with a focus on the acquisition of health, socio-health and educational assets, which already make up 31% of its portfolio. The asset management firm had already invested last year in the senior segment in Spain with the purchase of two residences in Madrid and Mérida.
Nuria Béjar, National Director of the Healthcare division at Savills, explains that "the investment sector in these assets remains strong, with continued appetite from the main pan-European funds that are clearly committed to both existing assets and repositioning to incorporate improvements and adaptations to updated models in terms of architecture, design and operations”.
