The real estate investment manager Persepolis Investments has sold a residential building in Madrid to a private investor, according to the consultancy firm Catella, which has exclusively advised on the sale.
The property, which has a surface area of 2,000 square metres and 25 newly refurbished homes for rental, is located at number 24, calle Rafael de Riego, in the Palos de la Frontera neighbourhood, in the Arganzuela district.
Gonzalo Zulueta, partner of Catella España and head of the residential investment area, said that "this transaction demonstrates the great investor appetite that exists for the residential rental segment". "Despite the uncertainty that we are currently going through, it is seen as a safe haven in the medium and long term", he added.
"Refurbished properties located in the historic areas of the capital have a high value for buyers, who are looking for a central location as insurance for a recurring generation of stable rents," explained Zulueta.
