Neinor Homes has started the construction of Lagune Homes, a residential project in Calpe (Alicante) which is being developed in co-investment with Orion Capital Managers. This project revitalises an area that remained undeveloped for almost two decades and construction is expected to be completed in September 2026.
With a total investment of 16 million euros, Lagune Homes includes two 11-storey buildings that will house 140 homes with two and three-bedroom options, all with terraces offering panoramic views of Calpe. It will also have communal areas such as swimming pools, paddle tennis courts, green areas, children's areas and a gourmet lounge.
According to the company, the project takes into account the nearby natural environment, as it is located close to the Calpe Salt Flats, a protected area on the Mediterranean coast. To minimise the environmental impact, the buildings will respect the urban planning limitations of the area, maintaining heights that do not interfere with the habitat of the local fauna.
Sixto Bayo, Neinor Homes' Territorial Director for Levante, highlights the importance of this project in the company's strategy: “Lagune Homes reinforces our commitment to second homes in Alicante and consolidates an area in Calpe that has not been developed for almost 20 years”.
This development is part of the collaboration between Neinor Homes and Orion Capital Managers, partners since 2023 in a joint venture aimed at promoting residential projects in Spain with a joint investment of 50 million euros. Orion holds 90% of the capital and Neinor 10%, with the latter acting as managing partner, overseeing the design, licensing, construction and marketing of the projects.
Lagune Homes represents a significant step forward for Neinor Homes in its expansion of second homes, reinforcing its presence in the province of Alicante and boosting one of the most sought-after areas on the Mediterranean coast.
