The private investment and management firm has around 100 million euros to carry out operations and increase its portfolio in Spain.
Armin Ghorbanifar, CEO and founder of Moonlake, highlights that after two "difficult years due to the pandemic, in which some of the projects were delayed, 2022 has already been a year of increased activity and we expect this to continue in 2023".
Specifically, the firm is looking to grow in the luxury residential segments and also in the tertiary sector with retail projects in prime areas and in offices only through unique projects. "We are looking for opportunities in the retail sector in cities such as Madrid and also outside Spain, with a focus on Berlin and London. In this case we are looking for prime assets with long-term contracts of 10-15 years", explains the executive, who assures that "we are not interested in the Barcelona market".
On the other hand, in the housing segment, "we are working on the creation of a new club deal with a couple of partners for residential operations in prime areas with a greater focus on Marbella", says Ghorbanifar. According to Ghorbanifar, this is a market that is achieving record prices, "even surpassing Monaco or the most expensive neighbourhoods in Madrid". "Profit margins of 100% have been achieved in some operations. This has never happened before in the history of Marbella and I believe it is a situation that must be corrected," he stresses.
