Metrovacesa has obtained the building licence for a 240-home development in Sagunto, in the province of Valencia. The scheme will be built in two phases of 118 and 122 units. The first phase, with two, three and four-bedroom homes, will involve investment of €26.1 million. The project went on sale in May.
The development is in a residential growth area close to Sagunto’s historic centre, with views of the castle. All homes in the first phase will have a terrace and parking space, with the option of a storage room. The scheme also includes ground-floor units with gardens and penthouses with large terraces.
Communal facilities will include swimming pools for adults and children, landscaped gardens, a children’s play area, a social room and bicycle parking.
The project aims to achieve an A rating for both energy consumption and emissions. Homes will have individual aerothermal systems for hot water, thermal and acoustic insulation, high-performance window frames and individual mechanical ventilation. Solar photovoltaic panels will cover part of the communal areas’ energy use, and the car park will be pre-installed for electric vehicle charging.
