Metrovacesa has received planning permission for the construction of Residencial Caleida, a development of 100 homes situated in the San Pedro de Visma area of A Coruña. This project, representing a total investment of €28.3 million, will comprise a range of unit types from one to four bedrooms and will have an A energy rating.

The project, designed by the architectural firm ARA Arquitectos, will consist of a single building comprising a ground floor and 15 storeys. The properties will feature a terrace, garage and storage room, as well as communal areas including a communal swimming pool, a private garden and a social lounge.

From a technical and environmental perspective, the building will incorporate LED lighting in the communal areas, devices to optimise water consumption, efficient air-conditioning systems, pre-installation for electric vehicle charging and solutions linked to renewable energy.

The development forms part of the urban expansion plan for San Pedro de Visma, an area set to see the construction of some 3,600 homes, public facilities, leisure spaces and a park covering more than 50,000 sqm. The new neighbourhood is located two kilometres from the centre of A Coruña and is connected to the wider metropolitan area via the third ring road.
