On January 30th, Meridiana will organise a Meetup - MIPIM meeting in Malaga, specifically in the auditorium of the Municipal Services Multipurpose Building of the City Council. This event is supported by Malaga City Council and Rebs Real Estate Business School, and sponsored by RocaJunyent and RKS-AM & Ktesios Socimi.
The conference will focus on discussing the current residential situation in the Malaga region, emphasising the importance of public-private collaboration to facilitate universal access to housing. Representatives of the organisation highlight the opportunity of this event to discuss the participation of the Malaga community in MIPIM and how the City Council promotes the internationalisation of its companies through the fair.
Among those attending are Carmen Casero, Deputy Mayor of Malaga City Council and Delegate for Urban Planning; José Antonio Pérez Ramírez; Roger Plá, partner at RocaJunyent; Francisco Javier Pomares, Deputy Mayor of Malaga City Council and Delegate for Housing and Urban Regeneration; and Henry Gallego, CEO of Ktesios Socimi and RKS-AM.
The experts on the panel will address issues related to urban equity in Malaga, highlighting the need for effective collaboration between the public and private sectors to ensure equal access to adequate housing. They will analyse the disparity between supply and demand for affordable housing, examining current and future policies that impact on the housing market. In addition, the challenges of sustainable urbanisation and social inclusion will be discussed, considering their integration into urban planning and development in Malaga.
To conclude, Albert Castro, official representative of MIPIM in the Iberian Peninsula and founder of Meridiana, will present the latest developments for the next edition of MIPIM and his perspective on how the fair contributes to the internationalisation and attraction of investment for participating companies.
