Lion Capital Group has launched a New-Build Department to expand its activity in the residential sector in the Valencian Community. The company, which until now has focused mainly on the second-hand housing market, will work on marketing third-party developments and on developing its own projects under the Lion Development brand.
The new division currently has seven projects in its portfolio, five of which are active in various municipalities within the Valencia metropolitan area. These include Santa Bárbara Rocafort, a development of five homes priced between €1.3 and €1.5 million, designed by the Valencian architect Antonio Altarriba.
The portfolio also includes Residencial Victoria, in La Eliana, a 19-home project which has already sold all its units, with prices starting from €185,000. In addition to this development are Masamagrell Villas, comprising six three-storey detached homes priced below €400,000; Campolivar Living, in Godella, consisting of two semi-detached homes priced at €790,000; and a development of 41 homes in Moncada.
The company is launching this new line of business against a backdrop of a shortage of residential properties in Valencia and its metropolitan area. According to information provided by the company, the sector expects house prices to rise by between 5% and 7% in 2026, while international buyers currently account for one in three homebuyers in the city.
