Homeclub, a Spanish flexible rental company owned by Home Select, has opened a new building in the Plaza de la Constitución, located in the historic centre of Malaga. This establishment expands the company's offer in one of the busiest and most in-demand cities in Spain. The building, which dates back to the 19th century, has four floors divided into two entrances, one on Pasaje Heredia and the other on Calle Granada. It has 23 flats, with one- and two-bedroom configurations.
The property is intended for rentals ranging from 1 to 11 months, located close to Calle Larios, one of the most important shopping and tourist routes in Malaga. The building's location allows easy access to public transport, including a metro station that connects to the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía (PTA), a hub for technological innovation and startups in the city, and has several coworking options, making it suitable for professionals and digital nomads. In addition, Muelle Uno, home to Google's first cybersecurity centre in Europe, is a 10-15 minute walk away.
According to the company, the new project is part of a scenario in which Malaga has established itself as a leading destination for the temporary flat market, driven by its international appeal, improved infrastructure and a favourable economic environment. The tenants of these flats are mostly international, focused on high-level professionals, investors and people interested in an urban lifestyle with quality services.
With this opening, the company aims to double its portfolio in Malaga in less than a year, anticipating a considerable increase in demand for this type of housing. Sandra Cabello, co-founder and CEO of Homeclub, said: "The city is experiencing impressive growth and we are seeing an increasing demand for flexible rental flats that offer both comfort and convenience. This new project not only reinforces our presence in Málaga, but also underlines our commitment to offering high quality housing in strategic locations. We firmly believe that the demand for this type of housing will continue to increase as more professionals and digital nomads seek accommodation options that suit their changing needs".
