Asset Management servicer Hipoges announced this Tuesday the closing of the sale of a residential portfolio worth 44 million euros.
This set of properties is made up of 7 high-end assets located in the city center.
Nuno Antunes, Chief Global Real Estate Officer of Hipoges, comments in a statement that «this operation is a reinforcement of our strategy of selling unique assets, in which we offer our clients unique sales solutions thanks to our vast experience in the sector».
According to Hipoges, «the sale of this portfolio confirms the recovery that the residential market is experiencing in Portugal and especially in its capital, Lisbon (…). Especially in recent months, the reactivation of the market has caused large international funds to close their operations to create new residential projects and luxury homes in the city. Thus, in the first quarter of the year, prices rose more than 10% in the city», can also be read in a statement.
Through its real estate trading platform Portal Now, «Hipoges has witnessed increased activity in the home buying market. Everything points to this recovery continuing in the coming years, as Lisbon continues to be a very attractive destination for foreign investors, with a price per square meter lower than other major European capitals».
Note that in July, Hipoges announced the management of the largest residential rental portfolio in Portugal, with more than 4,400 assets all over the country. It created its own department within the company to manage this type of assets.
