Grupo Lar, a Spanish company specializing in the investment, development and management of real estate assets, in collaboration with Hanner, a Lithuanian real estate development firm, has acquired a site in the Targówek district of Warsaw. This land comes on top of another acquisition announced earlier in April, marking a continued focus on the Polish market. The company's plan includes the construction of 1,300 homes in Poland with a planned total investment of 180 million euros.
On the new plot located near the Targówek Mieszkaniowy metro station, the construction of 160 homes is planned. The estimated value of the investment in this plot is more than 32 million euros. Renata McCabe Kudła, Country Manager of Lar Group Poland, mentions that the investment responds to the needs of the local community and coincides with the development of the district.
Arvydas Avulis, President of Hanner, and Janusz Kraszewski, Investment Director of Grupo Lar Poland, highlighted the strategic importance of the Polish market and the dynamism of the Targówek district as key factors for the investment..
The joint venture between Grupo Lar Polonia and Hanner, which is being advised by Colliers, aims to build 1,300 homes in Warsaw over a six-year period. All residential buildings are planned to obtain BREEAM certification, which confirms compliance with sustainable construction principles. In addition, Grupo Lar in Poland has partnerships for the development of more than 600 residential and commercial units in various neighborhoods in Warsaw, as part of its expansion and commitment to sustainable development in the region.
