Elix has purchased two buildings in September, which will represent an investment by the company of 16.5 million euros to develop two new projects in these cities.
The first, located on Carrer de Aragó, in Barcelona's Eixample district, is a tertiary building that is currently operated as a rotational car park. Elix, which will invest 8 million euros in this project, will demolish the existing building and develop offices with the highest standards of sustainability and energy efficiency. It will also establish more versatile spaces that will allow it to develop a multi-tenant or single-tenant strategy. This new building will have six floors with a total surface area of 2,300 sqm and two basement floors of 900 sqm for parking spaces.
The building located on Paseo del Marqués de Zafra, in Madrid's Salamanca district, is a residential building with a surface area of 1,571 sqm that houses 17 apartments, three commercial premises and a warehouse located in the rear courtyard. In this case, the project consists of the restructuring of the existing building, which will enable the volume of the asset to be extended by two floors to a surface area of 2,100 sqm with 26 apartments, two commercial premises, communal areas, garden and swimming pool. The investment in this project is 8.5 million euros.
For Teresa Marzo, CEO of Elix, "these assets, intended for tertiary and residential use, are an example of the variety of services that Elix can offer, always complying with the most demanding sustainability and ESG criteria, and reinforces our positioning in two key cities for the national real estate sector".
