The Belgian fund has acquired a turnkey residence for the elderly in Alicante in an operation that amounts to thirteen million euros.
The construction works are scheduled to begin at the end of this year with the aim of inaugurating the complex, which will have about 7,300 sqm and 150 beds, by the beginning of 2024. Cofinimmo goes hand in hand in this project of the operator Solimar, of the Gallic group Vivalto Vie, which will rent the residence with a 25-year contract.
Confinimmo has more than 16,800 operating positions in Europe, a valuation that exceeds 3,800 million euros and one of its largest shareholders is the North American fund Black Rock. At the beginning of the year, the Belgian real estate company specializing in health care, bought the portfolio of 24 Batipart nursing homes located in Italy and Spain. In addition, it has an alliance with Thor Spain Private Equity that has already led to the acquisition of nineteen centers with 2,775 places in different Spanish cities.
