The Grupo Avintia has its sights set on Andalusia. The company has announced the start of work on nine developments in different locations in the provinces of Seville, Malaga and Granada, comprising a total of 713 homes. With a budget of 114 million euros to carry out the works, the group will build more than 86,000 square metres of roof.
This means that the Andalusian region now accounts for a third of Avintia Construcción's total volume of construction work. And in relation to this major project, Malaga will be the province with the largest share.
Avintia's projects in Malaga
Specifically, in Torremolinos, the company will collaborate with the developer Habitat Inmobiliaria to develop 131 multi-family homes in the Alborán-Siroco and Alborán-Poniente projects. Both will have a total built area of 16,700 square metres.
In the municipalities of Manilva and Benahavís, they will build the Blue View Heights and Tiara developments, respectively. The project is being carried out by the developer Metrovacesa and will result in 17,900 square metres built in 102 single-family homes, located in two luxury residential complexes on the Costa del Sol.
Cala Serena Village is the name of the development that the Grupo Avintia will develop for the developer Vía Célere in Mijas, which will involve the delivery of 90 single-family homes and 13,700 square metres.
Also in Malaga, specifically in Estepona, the Grupo Avintia will be responsible for the construction of the Aranya development for the developer Aelca. In this case, 68 multi-family homes will be delivered, with 6,600 square metres of roof area. In the same town, at the beginning of March, another 132 homes will be started up at Residencial Ática, for Neinor Homes, with a further 14,300 square metres.
Avintia projects in Seville and Granada
The company is positioning itself in other provinces of Andalusia. Among them, Seville, where, also for Aelca, it will develop the Adrio I residential building, which will have 40 units and 4,800 built metres.
Finally, in the province of Granada, in calle Rosa Chacel, 150 community housing units are under construction for the developer Aurquia. This development will involve more than 11,500 square metres of construction.
"With these projects, the Grupo Avintia is positioned as one of the major construction companies operating in Andalusia, capable of carrying out projects of different characteristics and with a high volume of work", explained Jesús García, general manager of construction at Avintia Construcción. "In addition, in the coming months we expect to close the contract for another 5 developments, to reach a turnover of 140 million euros by 2023 in the area," added Rafael Puga, general manager of contracting at Avintia Construcción.
Avintia will complete the construction of the tallest towers in Malaga this year
The Grupo Avintia's construction company is also developing large-scale projects in Andalusia, such as AQ Urban Sky, for the developer AQ Acentor. These two 30-storey towers, which are more than 100 metres high, house two hotels and 452 homes, making them a new emblem of the Malaga skyline.
The most outstanding projects completed by Avintia Construcción include the Palo Alto developments in Ojén, with a total of 206 homes, as well as a residential development in Malaga on Boulevard Lous Pasteur with 220 units for Grupo Ferrocarril; the 303 units in Terrazas de Teatinos for Q21; and the unique building promoted by Momentum, Teatinos Sky Garden, with 321 homes, over 42,000 square metres built, distributed over 15 floors, and almost 25,000 square metres in four basement floors.
