Avintia Construcción is expanding its presence in the Levante region with the construction of 591 new homes in the municipality of Quart de Poblet, under the Build to Rent model. This project is being carried out for a joint venture between DeA Capital, part of the holding company of the Italian group De Agostini, and the US fund Harrison Street. Grupo Ferrocarril acts as delegated developer and the management is carried out by the LAVIDDA brand.
The development includes two plots on which two buildings of eight and 12 storeys will be built, with 283 and 308 homes respectively. The units, which range from one to four bedrooms, are designed, according to the company, in pursuit of "high quality standards and equipped with smart technologies to maximise comfort, efficiency and sustainability".
In addition, the development will include communal areas such as swimming pools, paddle tennis courts, gymnasium, solarium, coworking room, green areas, as well as two basements for garages and storage rooms. The common services will be digitised, allowing tenants to manage various functions through a mobile application, including digital key control, parcel services, energy consumption management, incidents, maintenance and reservation of common areas.
The project was designed by the Estudio7dos architectural studio and forms part of the PAI Molí d'Animeta neighbourhood, which covers 270,000 square metres, almost half of which are green areas. More than 2,300 homes will be built in this area, half of which will be subsidised housing. The neighbourhood will also incorporate an innovative rainwater harvesting system for irrigation, contributing to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint.
With this and other projects, Avintia Construcción has consolidated its position in the Levante region, with more than 3,000 homes delivered or under construction in the Valencia region and another 500 in the Balearic Islands. It has also carried out construction work for hotel chains in the region, including the Torre Habitat Malilla and the Valencia Viveros student residence by Livensa Living.
