AQ Acentor has acquired a site in Las Rozas, Madrid, for the development of 118 multi-family homes. This project will entail a total investment of around €70 million and will be aimed at meeting the growing unmet demand on the A-6 axis of the Madrid metropolitan area.
With this acquisition, the company's total investment exceeds 420 million euros since 2023, and brings its portfolio to more than 3,000 units scheduled for delivery over the next five years. AQ Acentor has expanded its geographical reach to cities such as Seville and Murcia, in addition to strengthening its presence in Malaga and Valencia. This project also marks the company's return to Madrid, complementing its activity in Barcelona.
With regard to its impact in the Madrid region, with the completion of this project, AQ Acentor will have developed more than 1,550 homes in the region, of which 1,342 are social housing units in Villaverde, adding up to a total investment in real estate projects of more than 600 million euros.
According to Sergio Gálvez, CEO of AQ Acentor: "Madrid is a highly competitive market where we want to grow. That is why today's announcement is a major milestone for all of us at AQ Acentor, as it is not only our return to the capital, it is the starting point for our growth in the centre of Spain. We will continue to monitor the market in search of opportunities that, like this one, are capable of meeting market demand and generating value. As a result, today we have identified operations with which to incorporate a further 400 homes within the Madrid region, a volume that we will continue to expand".
The development in Las Rozas will incorporate communal areas such as a swimming pool, gastroteca and gymnasium and will apply, according to the company, criteria of quality, sustainability and environmental integration. The development works are scheduled to begin before the end of the year, with the start of marketing planned for early 2025.
