The Alting Group has acquired a residential building at number 65 Arturo Soria, in Madrid, in a deal that marks the start of its residential property development activity in the capital.
The acquisition, made from Aliseda via the marketing company Roan, represents an investment of over €10 million.
The property, built in 2003, will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment with the aim of repositioning it in the residential market. The sale of the flats is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.
The project involves the complete transformation of the building, covering both the flats and the communal areas. The development will mainly comprise two- and three-bedroom flats, as well as ground-floor flats with private gardens and a swimming pool, and duplex penthouses with terraces. The property will also feature parking spaces, storage rooms, a gym and a heated communal swimming pool.
Alting has commissioned Touza Arquitectos to handle the architectural and interior design.
The development is situated in the Ciudad Lineal district, within an established residential area with access to amenities, schools, hospitals, shopping areas and public transport. The Arturo Soria area also retains an urban identity linked to the model conceived by Arturo Soria y Mata in the late 19th century, based on a linear axis with lower building density and a greater presence of open spaces.
Javier Marcos, Deputy Managing Director of Alting, emphasises that this acquisition enables the company to launch its residential development business in Madrid with a project that combines a prime location with significant potential for transformation. He also states that the group plans to continue evaluating larger-scale assets in established areas of the city.
