Aliseda has expanded the land marketing agreement signed with Metrovacesa by incorporating a second portfolio comprising 14 assets, totalling nearly 88,000 sqm of buildable land and with the capacity to develop 662 homes.
The plots are situated mainly in Eastern Andalusia, as well as the Canary Islands and Madrid, and are at various stages of urban development, ranging from plots ready for construction to land awaiting completion of infrastructure works or developable areas still undergoing planning procedures.
Management will be carried out through Excent, Aliseda’s platform specialising in the marketing of land, commercial and residential assets, which will tailor the sales strategy to the planning and commercial situation of each plot. The aim will be to target developers, investors and specialist operators.
This second portfolio expands on the agreement recently announced by both companies to market land across Spain, although neither the total volume of land included in the mandate nor the value of the assets has been disclosed.
Aliseda claims to have secured more than €2,700 million’ worth of exclusive property assets over the last ten months. In the residential sector, Excent markets more than 2,000 new-build homes on behalf of 170 developers.
Luis Alonso, Head of Land at Aliseda, has pointed out that managing these assets requires analysing their situation, defining their positioning and identifying suitable buyers, particularly in portfolios comprising plots at different stages of planning approval.
