The Ageas Portugal Group, Promiris and Cetim signed an agreement for the construction and acquisition of a new student residence in the Asprela area, in Porto.
Signed by S+A, the residence (Purpose Built Student Residence) will have a total of 265 rooms and spaces for leisure and collaboration, and will be managed by the French group Odalys.
With LiderA certification, construction should start later this year, and should open in the summer of 2023.
In a statement, the Ageas Portugal Group shares that «this investment is fully aligned with our ambition to build a sustainable portfolio of direct investment in the country. We are also very happy to have closed a partnership with trusted partners such as Promiris and Cetim and for having started a long-term relationship with Odalys, a renowned international student residences manager», explains Gilles Emond, Responsible for Real Estate Investment at the Group Ageas Portugal.
In this operation, the Ageas group was advised by MLGTS and KMPG. Promiris and Cetim were supported by PLMJ.
