Aedas Homes has announced its arrival in A Coruña, marking its presence in a total of 23 provinces in Spain. The company will begin its activity in the region with the Fontexaz project, a residential development in the municipality of Oleiros, considered one of the most sought-after in the Galician market.
The project will be located in a new development next to the Xaz Golf Course, in the area of Porto de Santa Cruz. Fontexaz will have 55 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, including penthouses and ground floor apartments with large gardens. All the homes will have large terraces and south facing, with starting prices from 295,000 euros, including garage and storage room. In addition, the development will offer communal areas with an outdoor swimming pool, solarium and private gardens, together with sports facilities such as paddle tennis and tennis courts at the nearby golf course.
Carlos García, Aedas Homes' delegate in Galicia, highlights that this new project seeks to meet the growing demand for new-build housing in Oleiros. ‘Fontexaz responds to both the need for first homes for local clients and second homes for buyers attracted by the quality of life and the proximity to the sea,’ says García.
According to the delegate, the residential market in Oleiros shows a limited supply compared to the high demand, with only 76 new housing transactions registered in the last year. García also stresses that Fontexaz is more than just a group of homes, being ‘a way of living in a natural environment in one of the most exclusive residential municipalities in Galicia’. Work is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2025, with the first deliveries estimated for 2027.
Carlos García thus emphasises the attractiveness of Oleiros, describing it as a ‘premium’ destination thanks to its microclimate, services, leisure offer and local gastronomy. In addition, Oleiros leads the ranking of municipalities with the highest per capita income in Galicia and is among the 25 richest in Spain.
