The Zurich insurance brand has completed an investment of 15 million euros for the development of an office asset located in the centre of Barcelona, on Carrer Aribau 195-199, according to Expansión.
The complex is located in the upper Diagonal area, in the Sarriá-St. Gervasi district, very close to Paseo de Gracia and the Provença railway station. It is a prime commercial and business area of Barcelona, a unique location, full of restaurants, hotels, services and shops.
The building has more than 8,300 square metres available, 1,430 square metres including garden, balconies and terraces, 200 private parking spaces and two commercial premises at street level.
The asset consists of a ground floor plus five floors above ground, and one floor below ground for underground parking spaces, with toilet and lift cores in the communal areas on each floor.
After a year and a half, the comprehensive refurbishment of the building, which has been carried out to the highest standards of quality and design, will soon be completed. The project includes a glazed main façade that provides a modern and innovative image, and interiors made up of highly functional and multidisciplinary open-plan spaces, designed to adapt to the needs of each company.
In addition, the ground floor roof overlooking the inner courtyard is converted into a green roof, in combination with walkways and living spaces, creating a green space in the centre of the block for the use and enjoyment of the users of the building on Carrer Aribau, according to the project's website.
