The University of Navarra Foundation (FUNA), established three decades ago to manage the institution’s permanent investment fund or endowment, has acquired a plot of land located on Calle Juan Ignacio Luca de Tena, near the University of Navarra Clinic and the university’s Madrid campus.
The purchase was formalised through the University of Navarra Foundation (FUNA), whose objectives include promoting and making donations and grants, organising cultural and development cooperation activities, awarding grants and research scholarships, and assisting with any needs that arise within the university community.
The complex acquired is the headquarters of the multinational 3M, which will continue to occupy part of the premises under a lease-back arrangement. The complex comprises two buildings on the same plot, one of which is partially occupied by the US company and the other with space available for new tenancies.
In the same area, the University of Navarra Clinic has temporarily relocated some of its general services while awaiting the completion of its expansion project on another nearby plot.
