The State finalizes the purchase from the AEW fund of the southern building of Río55, a business park located on the banks of the Manzanares, next to the land where the disappeared Vicente Calderón stadium stood, according to El Confidencial.
The operation will be carried out through the Sociedad Mercantil Estatal de Gestión Inmobiliaria de Patrimonio (Segipsa), an entity dependent on the Ministry of Finance, with the idea of subsequently locating offices for different portfolios there.
The Río55 complex was promoted by the Andalusian group Insur, which in March 2018 reached an agreement with AEW to sell the south turnkey building once its construction was completed. The property has 13,753 sqm, distributed on the ground floor and seven heights, in addition to 198 parking spaces, with charging points for electric vehicles. In addition, the complex has 8,648 sqm of green areas.
Located on Calle Paseo de Virgen del Puerto 55, next to the Google Campus, this complex was launched with the idea of being the headquarters of large corporations, but two years after its construction it still remains empty. Now, it will pass into the hands of the State.
