A Santander real estate fund has sold a property, which had been unoccupied since the beginning of 2019, to a company that is part of the Atlas Edge group. The deal was worth 11 million euros.
Negócios reports that the purchase and sale promise contract was signed on 23 January with CTSPT - Colocation Technology Services I Pt, Unipessoal, Lda, a company part of the Atlas Edge group, a pan-European technology consultancy.
The facility was built to house SIC's offices and TV studios in Carnaxide, with the private TV channel leaving the building in 2019.
The building has around 7,000 square metres of leasable area, spread over 4 floors and two distinct bodies, with the ground floor having 4,000 square metres for commerce and services. Floors 1 and 2 have around 950 square metres for offices, and the technical areas are installed on floor -1. The yard has private parking for 115 cars. This is where the SIC studios worked until 2019.
JLL announced the sale of the property on an exclusive basis in June 2021, noting that "considering its diversity of characteristics and location, this building is ideal to combine a corporate headquarters in the office area, with a retail occupation for medium-sized shops in the area previously dedicated to the studios. It benefits from an ample patio with parking, which is a very interesting factor both for companies looking for offices and for retailers, in addition to being just a few minutes from Lisbon, on a busy axis and with excellent access", said Mariana Rosa, Head of Leasing Markets Advisory at JLL at the time.
