The investment fund Revcap has acquired an office building in Madrid from the insurer MMT for 40 million euros, according to OkDiario.
Now, the buyer has carried out a major reform of the property to adapt it to the demands of the new tenant, the video game multinational Electronic Arts (EA). The American company, known worldwide for developing the game for Fifa consoles, will move once the repositioning work is finished.
Until now, the insurance company used it as offices and a workshop. For its part, EA was rented in the Cristalia Business Park, owned by Merlin Properties. Given the growth of the company in Spain, the Socimi lacked space to expand the offices of the North American company.
