The riverside area near Cais do Sodré was the scene of a new transaction, with the purchase of the Corpo Santo 13 office building by a group of private investors, represented by JLL. The property was sold with the support of Cushman & Wakefield as the seller's advisor.
The office building has more than 4,000 square meters and is fully occupied by the Court of Appeal. Once the headquarters of the Fidelidade Insurance Company, the property is located on one of the busiest corners of this axis of Cais do Sodré, in the middle of Largo do Corpo Santo.
The Corpo Santo 13 property stands out for its visibility, with three street fronts, and for its proximity to public transport such as the metro, train and boat, being located in the heart of a highly attractive neighborhood in which to work.
For João Sacadura, Co-head of Commercial Real Estate Investment at JLL, "this property is a very attractive asset with an excellent occupant. But it also stands out for its potential for conversion. Given its excellent location in one of Lisbon's most dynamic areas in terms of urban redevelopment, it's a property with endless possibilities for the future".
For her part, Cristina Machado, Head of Office Investment at Cushman & Wakefield, commented that "it was with great pleasure that we advised the seller on this transaction. This once again demonstrates the interest of investors in well-located office buildings, with quality tenants, which also have the plasticity of being able to be converted to other uses".
