Novobanco is preparing to move to Oeiras, more precisely to Tagus Park, thus starting the process of selling its current building, which is located on Avenida da Liberdade. According to Eco, Novobanco's headquarters was in a kind of pre-sale at MIPIM, where it was exposed to a series of possible buyers.
According to what the ECO explained to a real estate market source, the financial institution hired the consultants JLL and Cushman & Wakefield to start the execution, which will cover a base value of 100 million euros.
Upon finalizing the contract in April of last year, the institution led by António Ramalho thus leases an office space with more than 2,800 square meters, corresponding to lot 5, in Tagus Park. Cited by ECO, according to Visão, the works have already started in the space, in an area of 55 thousand square meters, which will accommodate the institution's more than 2,000 workers. The space will have office areas, meeting rooms, leisure areas with gardens, gym, meditation room, cafeteria and bar with terrace. The project also plans to unify three pre-existing buildings and build a fourth.
After BPI, BCP and Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Novobanco thus becomes the last major bank to leave the center of Lisbon.
