The fund managed by Meridia Capital has informed BME Growth of the sale of various assets for nearly eighty million euros.
Among the assets that Meridia has sold are two buildings in Viladecans Business Park, an office complex on the outskirts of Barcelona. The two properties add up to 23,000 square meters and Meridia has received 47.6 million euros for the assets.
The investment manager acquired these properties from the Oaktree fund in 2016 for around thirty million euros. Among the main tenants of the buildings is the airline Vueling, which recently leased ten thousand square meters, and the pharmaceutical company Angelini.
Along with this asset, the third Meridia fund has also transferred an office building located at number 16 Julián Camarillo, in the district named Madbit, in Madrid. The 8,300 square meter building was recently rented by the Servinform company. Meridia has sold the asset for 26.2 million euros.
Finally, the socimi chaired by Javier Faus also reports the transfer of an office building, called Tenaria, in Pamplona for an approximate price of six million euros.
Meridia is currently in the final process of divestment from this third fund and is keeping its fourth vehicle active, which already has eight investments underway. In addition, the fund manager has launched the Meridia Glamping Program, a fund with resources of between 250 million and 300 million euros for the acquisition of campsites throughout Spain.
