Last December, Meridia Capital closed the acquisition of an office building from the Angelini pharmaceutical company in the Sarrià neighborhood and, more specifically, at number 7-9 Osi Street. Meridia will refurbish the property and bring a corporate building called Upper Sarrià to the market.
The property has an area of 4,275 square meters divided into two buildings, in addition to nine parking spaces. Industry sources point out that Meridia Capital disbursed ten million euros for the asset, a figure to which another three million must now be added to reposition the property according to the parameters that a modern office building needs today.
The manager hopes that the reform of the property will be completed in June, so she hopes to be able to deliver it from the third quarter. The idea is to turn it into the corporate headquarters of one or two companies in the upper area of Barcelona, a residential area with few offices but attractive due to its central location and abundance of services. Savills Aguirre Newman and Forcadell are the consultants in charge of marketing it.
Meridia has carried out this operation through Merida IV, a new value-add style fund with resources of 250 million euros to invest in offices, logistics and hotels in, mainly, Madrid and Barcelona.
