Meridia Capital has acquired an office complex at 21-27 Milanesado Street in Barcelona for 19 million euros, according to Euronext Acces Paris.
The building has a surface area of 5,500 square metres, as well as 44 parking spaces. It is a property owned until now by Grupo Océano, a publishing and content generation group.
The publishing company occupies about half of the property, while the other half is rented by third party companies. Meridia's investment is organised as a sale & leaseback, whereby the tenants will remain in the property and Meridia will receive rents.
In any case, the transaction is a commitment by the management company to offices in central areas of Barcelona at a time when this type of asset has achieved greater demand from the market compared to other new business areas.
