Savills Aguirre Newman has advised off market the purchase of an office complex located in the MADBIT area, the technological district of Madrid in the Julián Camarillo area, by a private investor. A fund affiliated with MCAP Global Finance (UK) LLP, the European subsidiary of New York-based Marathon Asset Management LP ('Marathon'), has sold the asset after completing a repositioning process and leasing it to All We Wear Group, known as Pepe Jeans Group, for its headquarters in Spain. Savills IM has acted as asset manager on behalf of Marathon.
The complex is made up of two buildings located at Avenida Institución Libre de Enseñanza, 43 (Hermanos García Noblejas, 43) and has an area of 8,762 sqm, 319 parking spaces and two commercial premises.
The MADBIT area continues to consolidate as one of the areas most demanded by office users, especially by innovative and technological companies, due to the excellent communication by public transport together with the existence of high-quality office buildings. The area has also become an important focus of interest on the part of investors due to the high growth potential of the area.
