The multinational computer services company Mantu has bought for 2,717,640 euros what is destined to be its new headquarters in Barcelona. With a total of 1,316 square metres, the company will move to number 86 Carrer Vilamarí, in the Sants district. Until now, Mantu was located in the district of Les Corts, specifically at Carrer Guitard 43.
BNP Paribas Real Estate and Forcadell were the consultancy firms involved in the process. The former has advised Mantu on the purchase of the asset, while Forcadell has been chosen for the exclusive marketing of the offices. The property belonged to SBC Vilamarí SL.
Francisco López, director of BNP Paribas Real Estate in the Barcelona office, explains that "the Barcelona office market continues to be very attractive for all types of companies, especially technology companies. It is no longer just 22@, but the centre of Barcelona is becoming a location in the city that, due to its good communications and services, is capable of attracting new demand in this sector".
For his part, Manel de Bes, Director of Forcadell's Office Department, adds that "Barcelona is returning to pre-Covid absorption levels. The dynamism of the city's office market during the first half of the year has resulted in 185,000 square metres of new office space being taken up. Companies like Amaris confirm Barcelona's attraction to foreign companies".
